Who We Are
Founded in 2023 by Luis 'Dino' Loya, SK8 4KIDS was born from his journey of overcoming teenage homelessness through the discipline and community of skateboarding.
Today, the organization empowers at-risk youth in El Paso by providing free skate lessons, mentorship, equipment, and meals—creating safe spaces where kids can thrive on and off the board. More than just a skate program, SK8 4KIDS is building confidence, character, and community one kickflip at a time.

More Than Skateboarding—We Build Futures
Free Skateboarding Lessons &
Mentorship
Weekly practices led by dedicated volunteer coaches. Kids learn skills on the board while building confidence, teamwork, and positive peer connections.
Impact: 150+ youth coached since 2023
Equipment & Nutritional Support
We remove financial barriers by providing skateboards, helmets, shoes, and healthy meals at every session—ensuring every child has what they need to succeed.
Impact: 100+ skateboards & safety gear donated; 80+ kids fed weekly

Events
From skate jams to park clean-ups, we host events that give youth a sense of belonging while strengthening our community as a whole.
